Replace white or single-color background with transparent online

Specify a picture on your computer or phone, click the OK button at the bottom of this page. By default the white or single-color background of the image is replaced with a transparent one. The background color of the source image is determined automatically, you just need to specify in the settings, for which color to replace it. The main parameter which affects the quality of the replacement is the "Replacement intensity" and for each picture it can be different.

Examples with a photo of rose before and after replacement of a single-color background with a transparent, white and green:

The first example of a rose flower on a transparent background is made with the following settings:
1) Replacement intensity — 38;
2) Smoothing of the edges — 5;
3) Replace single-color background with — transparent;
4) Trimming (<0) or Adding (>0) around the edges — "-70";
5) Invert selection — disabled (off).

To create a second example, with a white background, were used same settings, as in the first example, except parameter: "Replace single-color background with" — white. In the third example, with a green background, are also used settings, as in the first example, except for the parameter: "color in hex format" — #245a2d.

The original image is not changed. You will receive another processed image with a transparent or specified background color.

Replacement intensity: (1-100)

Smoothing of the edges: (0-100)

Replace single-color background with: or color in hex format: open palette

Trimming (<0) or Adding (>0) around the edges: (from -100 to 100)
(Intensity for additional trimming or adding pixels around the selected area on a transparent background)

Invert selection (instead of the background, replace the foreground)

3) Output image format

JPEG with quality (from 1 to 100)
PNG-24 (without compression, with transparency support, selected by default)
