Rotate image to any angle online

Select a picture on your computer or phone, specify the angle of rotation, click OK button, wait a few seconds and after that you can to open or download ready result. With all default settings picture will be rotated by 90 degrees clockwise, with considering and correction of rotation in Exif, if this entry exists. This is necessary in order to orientation of the picture (portrait or landscape) will be always same in different programs, which can consider or not consider rotation angle in embedded Exif information.

Examples with vertical photos of battery «Kodak», rotated by 5 degrees clockwise, by 25 degrees counterclock-wise and by 90 degrees clockwise:

All the above examples were made with all default settings, except of different "angles of image rotation".

1) Select image in BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF format:

2) Settings to rotate the image
Angle of rotation: (from -360.00° to 360.00°, 0°="physical rotation based on exif")
(A positive value rotates the image clockwise ⟳, and negative value, less than zero – counterclock-wise ⟲)
Type of image rotation: Normal or "physical" rotation by any angle (selected by default)
(Suitable to rotate by 90, -90, 180, 270 degrees, if not a multiple of 90°, there will be a plain background)

With automatic cropping of the plain background, with saving of image proportions
(It is recommended to rotate by a few degrees, for example, by: 3, 5 or 15 degrees)
With automatic cropping of the plain background, with saving of image proportions and size in pixels
(Result size in pixels will be the same as the original image, also suitable to rotate by angle of about 15 degrees)

Rotation around center, with saving of image proportions and size in pixels
(Size of the canvas does not change, protruding corners will be cropped, on the empty place will be a plain background)

Rotate jpg-image "in EXIF" without loss of quality by: (only for JPG)
(Specified at the beginning of settings "angle of rotation" is ignored, jpeg re-compression is not applied)
Rotate jpg-image "physically" without loss of quality by: (only for JPG)
(Lossless rotation of the jpeg-image, specified at the beginning of settings "angle of rotation" will be ignored)
Color of the plain background: or color in HEX format: open palette
(This parameter is used for "normal rotation", not a multiple of 90°, and for "rotation around center")
Consider the rotate angle in EXIF + correction of this tag:
(It solves the problem, associated with the confusion of image rotation "in exif" and it's "physical" rotation angle)
3) Output image format
JPEG with quality (from 1 to 100)
PNG-24 (without compression, without loss of quality, with transparency support)
Copy EXIF and other metadata? Yes No

  Processing usually lasts for 0.5-20 seconds.
